When you enter the Study section of the course, you have access to five key areas of study: Canon, Geography, Books, Chronology and Interpretation.
Canon:
The Canon section provides four lessons covering how we got our Bible: Significance, Authenticity, Recognition and Organization.
Geography:
The Geography section begins with an index of significant Old Testament sites. Detailed topographical maps highlight the location. You can also trace the movements of people in Old Testament history. Click on Adam to Joseph, for example, and page through the maps that trace this time period.
Books:
If you want detailed information on any book of the Old Testament, select the Books button. You will find an outline of the book, as well as information on the key people, events, themes, chronological order and application for each book.
Chronology:
The Chronology section begins with an index listing major periods of biblical history. Click any period to view an audio summary and timeline depicting the significant events during that period.
Interpretation:
Interpretation provides a three-lesson study of Bible interpretation: familiarity, attitude and context. The third lesson begins with an interactive diagram ­ click each part of the diagram for more in-depth information.
